Our team, located in Ontario consists of independent contract trainers (some volunteer), psychologists, therapists, educators, counselors and PTSD survivors and collaboratively we have implemented a practical workshop to best address the daily complexities experienced by those living with or supporting people with traumatic stress injuries. We offer a professional perspective tailored with a personal comprehensive understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress injuries.
Dr. Ken Marek, Reg. Psychologist, Trauma Consultant & TASC Trainer
Dr. Marek has a degree in Counselling Psychology, initially interning at Veteran's Hospital Sioux Falls in South Dakota, with a PhD in Education and specializes in psychological testing for adults and children, Individual Therapy, Behaviour Therapy and EFT. He has been a consultant with the Ministry of the Solicitor General and Correctional Service, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ministry of Education, LINK EAP Counselling, Corporate Health and Royal Victoria Hospital.
Dr. Marek is a sought-after keynote speaker and psychological source for media outlets and has also been an instructor at Georgian-Laurentian University in the Psychology Department.

Cilvy Dupras, Psychotherapist & TASC Trainer (Bilingual)

Cilvy began her career in Montreal as a Sexologist in 1983, teaching and counseling high school students. With a passion for helping people who have experienced sexual trauma she moved to Ottawa to teach at Algonquin College and at Collège Boréal in her specialty to students in Correctional Services, Police Foundation, Nursing and Social Work. Some years later Cilvy moved to North Bay where she taught at Canadore College until she began her private practice in Sudbury where she continues to work today. With unique opportunities to work with both victims and abusers through agencies and private practice, Cilvy has travelled to Kuujjuak, in Northern Quebec to teach drug and addictions counsellors best practices in helping victims recover after sexual trauma. She also has expertise in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and has a special interest in this issue because it touches her family on a personal level.

Ron Doyle, National Business Manager
Ron has over 30 years as a Corporate Sales Executive in competitive markets. He worked from the front line to Vice President of Sales and lastly as a Business Owner. Ron's valued experience adds the perfect combination of customer service and 'know how' to grow and support Bit by Bit Trauma Training network and Assistive Animal Program.

CHRISTY BURTON, SPECIAL PROJECTS ASSISTANT
Christy has an extensive volunteerism background that started at age 12 in a local nursing home. Over the years she designed and delivered special educational programs at schools and businesses, and organized and ran fundraising and educating efforts such as the Elmvale Water Festival, explained PIPEDA requirements for non-profits at Georgian College Barrie, and designed and taught equine safety courses for the YMCA. She formed and runs a non profit organization (Integrated Community Assistance Network – ICAN) to meet needs with resources. Professionally, the mother of four started up and ran two radio news departments, broadcast news, produced a community newspaper and currently acts as a freelance photojournalist, writer and editor. Journeying life with PTSD has enabled Christy to connect on many levels with others who are similarly pursuing the most beneficial state of mind in the presence of emotional challenges.
